The Weller Erem 670EP precision cutter is distinguished by its high precision and versatility, ideal for use in microelectronics and cutting SMD and micro casing contacts. This model from the 600 Micro series offers various head shapes, specifically designed for access in hard-to-reach areas. The cutter is made of high-quality tool steel and features cutting edges hardened to over 60 HRc, ensuring long life and re-sharpenability.
With a head width of 9 mm and a jaw length of 10 mm, the angled head allows for precise cuts even on very small components. The total length is 110 mm, and the device is ESD safe, with a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohm according to MIL standard, making it safe for electrostatically sensitive parts. A patented opening system integrates the springs invisibly and prevents injury risks. Additionally, the double self-locking screw joint minimizes wear, and the "Stop! Limit system" prevents the blades from crossing.
An optional wire holder is available, which protects against eye injuries and prevents the destruction of assemblies by uncontrolled detached cutting debris.
