The half-round pliers 3542115 ESD by KNIPEX are distinguished by their robust, load-optimized construction with a through-going and play-free precision joint. These pliers are specifically designed for precise and comfortable work, with electrically discharging, dissipative handles and a slim shape that enables fine gripping. The carefully rounded edges of the head prevent material damage, while the smoothly ground gripping surfaces guarantee damage-free operation.
The 45° angled, flat-round jaws and the low-friction double spring facilitate the gentle and uniform opening of the pliers. Thanks to the mirror polish and a fine oil film, the steel body is well protected against rust, which enhances the tool's durability and prevents electrical disturbances due to flaking chrome parts. With a total length of 115 mm and a head width of 11 mm, the pliers offer optimal handling. The jaw length is 22.5 mm with a tip width of 2.0 mm and a head thickness of 6.5 mm.

Compact and good: 115 mm length for plenty of freedom even in tight spaces

When working on electronic devices and circuit boards as well as precision mechanical constructions such as measuring devices and delicate apparatus, space is at a premium: ideal conditions for the electronics gripping pliers from Knipex. They are ideal for working in areas that are difficult to access.

With their slim head and short length, these precision gripping pliers from Knipex are the ideal tool for sensitive gripping, holding and bending of delicate components and workpieces. The gripping surfaces are ground smooth to protect sensitive surfaces.

Smooth-running and precise, with box joint and double spring

The smaller and more sensitive the components, the more precisely a pair of pliers must work. A well-dosed transmission of manual force is crucial. This is made possible by the very finely tuned pliers from Knipex with perfect mechanics. The solid, box joint is smooth-running, as the inner shank of the pliers is guided on both sides by the outer shank. Result: precise movement without tipping.

ESD protection against uncontrolled electrostatic discharge; safety rust protection

The pliers shanks of the Knipex ESD electronics gripping pliers are forged from special tool steel, oil-hardened, carefully deburred, mirror-polished and completed with an opening spring and rivet to form the gripping pliers. The rust protection of the pliers is harmless for circuits because there is no chrome plating. The pliers are well protected against corrosion thanks to mirror polishing and a fine film of oil.
