The Weller Erem 530E08 distance cutter is a highly specialized tool made from tool steel, designed for precise cuts in electronics manufacturing. With a fixed cutting length of 0.8 mm, this device enables clean separation of copper wire and other soft materials. The large bevel of the cutting edge offers universal applications, for both hard and very hard steel wires.
The ESD safety of the cutter is ensured by standard handles that have a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 ohms according to MIL standard. This reduces mechanical shock to sensitive components and increases safety during use.
The length of the tool is 120 mm with a jaw length of 20 mm and a head width of 11 mm. The innovative design includes a double self-locking screw joint that minimizes wear and a patented spring opening system that eliminates the risk of injury and ensures the tool's longevity.
The integrated 'Stop! Stop system' prevents the blades from crossing and thus protects against damage. An optional wire holder is available that reduces the risk of eye injuries and damage to assemblies from flying cutting debris.
