The innovative design includes a double self-locking screw joint, which significantly reduces wear, and a patented opening system that integrates the springs invisibly, thus reducing the risk of injury. The ESD-safe standard handles offer a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohms according to MIL standard, providing additional safety when handling sensitive electronic components.
The distance cutter cuts copper to a length of 0.8 mm and is equipped with a large bevel that can be used universally on hard and very hard steel wires. The maximum cutting thickness for soft materials is 1.2 mm, while the overall length of the tool is 120 mm. The jaw length measures 20 mm and the head width 11 mm.
Optionally, the distance cutter can be supplemented with a wire holder, which reduces the risk of eye injuries and the destruction of assemblies by uncontrollably detached cutting waste.
