The KNIPEX cable cutter, certified to ISO 1000V and with a length of 280 mm, is specifically designed for cutting Cu and Al cables up to a diameter of 52 mm (380 mm²). This VDE-tested tool impresses with its high gear ratio, which allows for low effort during cutting. The compact design and light weight enable use even in confined spaces.The cable cutter is not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes, and highly flexible conductors. It features hardened cutting edges with precision grinding that ensure a smooth and clean cut without crushing. Thanks to the ratchet principle and the two-speed planetary gear, operation with just one hand is possible, while the integrated pinch protection prevents pinch injuries.
The tool, made of chrome-plated tool steel, is robust and durable. The special head shape supports efficient cutting. The cable cutter is also suitable for Al conductors up to 4 x 150 mm² sector cables, making it an indispensable tool for professional electrical and assembly work.
