This VDE-certified cable cutter is specifically designed for cutting Cu and Al cables up to a diameter of 20 mm (70 mm²). It cuts smoothly and cleanly, without crushing, thanks to a staggered cutting process that includes a precut for the insulation jacket and a postcut for the conductor. The cutter is not suitable for steel wire and hard-drawn copper conductors. A pinch guard prevents crush injuries during use.
The cutting edges are hardened and precision-ground, which, along with the special cutting edge geometry and favorable transmission ratios, allows for minimal effort during cutting. An adjustable, self-locking screw joint optimizes functionality.
