Cable shears StepCut 1000V
The KNIPEX StepCut 1000V cable cutter is specifically designed for cutting Cu and Al multi-conductor cables as well as solid cables up to a diameter of 15 mm (50 mm²) and a maximum size of 5 x 4 mm². This tool is not suitable for steel wire and hard-drawn copper conductors. With a length of only 160 mm and a weight of 225 g, it combines convenience with efficiency. The cutter is made of high-quality tool steel, chrome-plated, and has a straight head shape.
The VDE testing ensures compliance with relevant standards such as EN 60900 and IEC 60900, making it safe for work under voltages up to AC 1000V and DC 1500V. The ergonomic handle design and screwed joints provide a precise, smooth, and durable cutting experience, while the anti-pinch guard offers additional safety. The blades are also induction-hardened with a hardness of approximately 56 HRC, making the cable cutter particularly resistant.
Thanks to the innovative gradation of the cutting blades, the effort required for cutting is up to 40% less compared to standard cable cutters of the same length. This allows effortless cutting without crushing.
