The ceramic tweezer Type 73 MZ SA from CK is a high-performance precision tweezer, specifically developed for technically demanding applications. The tweezer features tips made of zirconia ceramic, which provide excellent wear resistance – up to 10 times better than metal and 100 times better than plastic. These characteristics make it ideal for use in environments where no electromagnetic induction and no eddy current losses at high frequency (HF) are allowed.
The ceramic tweezer is 100% electrically insulating, non-magnetic, and anti-static. It withstands temperatures up to 1000°C and has an extremely low thermal conductivity. Additionally, it is completely corrosion-resistant and very resistant to all strong acids, except for hydrofluoric acid. The smooth surface prevents the adhesion of soft solder and silver solder.
The tweezer is 140 mm long, has a straight tip shape, and a ridged grip area for secure handling. The gripping area is smooth, and the tips are fine and replaceable, which offers additional flexibility in use. Although it is not certified for ESD-protected areas, its anti-magnetic and acid-resistant properties provide reliable performance in many technical applications.
