The ESD tweezer with plastic tip 00CF.SA from ideal-tek is a high-quality universal tweezer, specifically designed for handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates.
The tweezer is made of stainless steel and features a sandblasted surface as well as a straight, smooth plastic tip that has a width of 1.0 mm and a length of 25 mm. The total length of the tweezer is 130 mm with a weight of 17 g.
The tweezer is characterized by its ESD capability and offers excellent mechanical strength and toughness. It is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and can withstand temperatures up to 190°C for short periods.
The Polyamide 66% plastic tip, reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, ensures low friction as well as excellent wear and abrasion resistance. The surface resistance is 102 Ω.
Despite its many advantages, the tweezer is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam. It is ideal for applications in micromechanics, electronics assembly, and laboratories where scratch-free handling is essential.
