The ESD tweezer with interchangeable tip 5CFR.SA by Ideal-Tek is specifically designed for handling sensitive electronic components and devices. This tweezer is distinguished by its interchangeable plastic tips, which are reinforced with 30% carbon fiber to ensure high mechanical strength and low friction. The material composition guarantees excellent wear resistance as well as a lead-free and heat-stabilized construction up to 130°C for continuous use.
The tweezer offers maximum temperature resistance of 190°C for short periods and a surface resistance of 102 Ω. Its ESD properties make it ideal for areas such as micromechanics and electronics assembly in laboratories. The tips are very fine and sharp, facilitating the handling of scratch-sensitive materials like glass and ceramic substrates. However, note that the tweezer is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
Technical specifications include a length of 130 mm, a tip length of 25 mm, and a width of 10 mm with a weight of only 17.5 g. The smooth gripping and handling surface supports precise work without damaging the components.
