The ESD tweezer with replaceable tip 249CPR.SA by ideal-tek is made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic and offers optimal conditions for handling sensitive components in areas such as micromechanics and electronics assembly due to its ESD properties. The material, polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, ensures high mechanical strength and toughness as well as excellent wear and abrasion resistance. The tweezer is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and has a short-term temperature resistance of up to 190°C.
The surface of the tool is sandblasted, leading to a smooth gripping and handling area. The tips are straight, thick, beveled, and strong, allowing for precise handling. The tweezer has a length of 130 mm, a tip length of 26 mm, and a weight of 17 g. Despite its robust construction, it is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
The product is characterized by a very low linear thermal expansion coefficient and good chemical resistance, making it an indispensable tool in laboratories and electronics assembly.
