The ESD tweezer with plastic tip 249CF.SA by ideal-tek, made in Switzerland, is a high-quality universal tweezer specifically designed for handling delicate components such as glass and ceramic substrates. The tweezer is made of stainless steel and features a sandblasted surface and a plastic tip, which is made of Polyamide 66 and 30% carbon fiber. This material offers very low friction, excellent wear and abrasion resistance, as well as high mechanical strength and stiffness.
The tip of the tweezer is straight and smooth, with a width of 2.0 mm and a length of 25 mm. The overall length of the tweezer is 130 mm, and it weighs 17.5 g. The maximum temperature resistance is temporarily 190°C, while the surface resistance is at 10^2 Ω.
This tool is ideal for applications in micromechanics and electronics assembly, where scratch resistance is essential. However, it is important to note that the tweezer is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam. The combination of precision and durability makes it an indispensable tool in laboratories and other sensitive working environments.
