The ESD tweezer 269CF.SA by ideal-tek, made in Switzerland, combines precise handling with technical sophistication. The tweezer is made from stainless steel, and the tip consists of a high-quality plastic blend of Polyamide 66 and 30% carbon fiber, which offers high mechanical strength and very good chemical resistance. The ESD safety is particularly noteworthy, enabling the handling of sensitive electronic components.
The tweezer has a length of 130 mm and features a smooth, straight tip with a width of 3.0 mm and a length of 25 mm. This combination allows for precise manipulation of the smallest components without the risk of scratches, making it ideal for areas such as micromechanics and electronic assembly. The tweezer is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and can withstand temperatures up to 190°C for short periods.
The surface of the tweezer is sandblasted, which ensures low friction and excellent wear resistance. The surface resistance is 102 Ω. Despite its robustness, the tweezer weighs only 17 g, which allows for fatigue-free working. Note that the tweezer is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
