The ESD tweezers with plastic tip 252.SA from ideal-tek is a high-quality universal tweezer, specifically designed for handling delicate components such as glass and ceramic substrates. This tweezer is ideal for applications in micromechanics and electronic assembly, as well as in laboratories where scratch resistance is crucial.
The tweezer is made of stainless steel and features a sandblasted, acid-resistant surface. The tips are made of a plastic composed of 66% polyamide and 30% carbon fiber, which provides very low friction and excellent wear resistance. The plastic tip is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and offers a maximum temperature resistance of 190°C for short periods. Furthermore, the material is characterized by very high stiffness as well as excellent tensile and bending strength.
The tweezer has a straight tip shape with a width of 8.2 mm and a length of 8 mm. The surface resistance is 102 Ω, ensuring ESD safety. Please note that the tweezer is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam. Weighing only 17 g and with a total length of 115 mm, this precise tool offers easy handling and effective performance for your specific needs.
