The replacement tip A246CF from ideal-tek is a high-quality solution for precise assembly work in areas such as micromechanics and electronics assembly. This Swiss Made product consists of a kit with two carbon fiber tips and three screws, specifically designed for the Type 246CF tweezers. The tips are angled with a bend degree of 45° and feature a beveled, thin shape that allows maximum visibility and increased comfort during use.The tips are made from an ESD-capable plastic that is reinforced with 30% carbon fiber to ensure high mechanical strength and excellent wear resistance. They offer excellent chemical resistance against oils, greases, and most non-polar solvents, but are not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, as well as hot water or steam. The maximum temperature resistance is temporarily at 190°C and the surface resistance is 10² Ω.
The low friction and very low linear coefficient of thermal expansion make the tips ideal for handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates, where scratch-free is essential. With a length of 36 mm, a tip width of 0.5 mm, and a weight of only 1 g, these tips are precise and easy to handle.
