The replacement tip A249CF from Ideal-Tek is specifically designed for use in micromechanics, electronics assembly, and laboratories, where handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates is crucial. The kit includes two carbon fiber tips and three screws, specifically developed for the 249CF type tweezers. These tips are made from an ESD plastic that consists of 66% polyamide and 30% carbon fiber, which not only provides ESD properties but also ensures high mechanical strength, stiffness, and excellent wear and abrasion resistance.
The tips are straight, thick, beveled, and strong, with a width of 8.0 mm and a tip width of 2.0 mm. The thickness is 1.0 mm with a height of 4 mm and a length of 40 mm. Despite their robustness, a tip weighs only 1 gram. It is important to note that the tips are not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam.
The maximum temperature resistance is briefly 190°C and the surface resistance is specified at 102 Ω, making the tips ideal for precise and safe applications.
