The replacement tip A259CF from Ideal-Tek is specifically designed for use in areas where precision and protection of sensitive components are required, such as in micromechanics and electronics assembly. This tip is made from an ESD-capable plastic reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, providing exceptional wear resistance and mechanical strength. It features a straight, fine, and pointed shape, with a width of 8.0 mm and a tip width of just 0.6 mm, allowing for precise work. The tip is heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use and can withstand temperatures up to 190°C for short periods.
The material of the tip is lead-free and offers good chemical resistance to oils, fats, and nonpolar solvents, but not against strong acids, alkalis, or hot water or steam. The surface resistance is 102 Ω, highlighting the ESD safety. The kit additionally includes 3 screws for attaching the tips to the Type 259CF tweezers. The low thermal expansion and excellent tensile and bending strength make this replacement tip a reliable choice for laboratories and electronics manufacturing.
