The ESD tweezer with interchangeable tip 242CPR.SA from Ideal-Tek is specifically designed for handling sensitive components such as glass and ceramic substrates, where scratch-free handling is crucial. This high-quality tool is made of stainless steel and features a sandblasted surface that provides excellent grip. The tweezer is characterized by a straight tip shape made from a special plastic that is interchangeable. This plastic is reinforced with 30% carbon fiber, which not only makes the tweezer ESD-safe but also provides high mechanical strength and excellent heat resistance up to 130°C for continuous use. The maximum temperature resistance even briefly reaches 190°C.
The tweezer is 130 mm long, 15 mm high, and has a tip width of 1.7 mm and a thickness of 0.55 mm. It weighs only 18 g, making it extremely lightweight and handy. The surface resistance is 102 Ω, confirming compliance with the ASTM D 785 standard (>100).
Please note that the tweezer is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, hot water, or steam. Ideal for applications such as micromechanics, electronics assembly, and laboratory work, where precision and reliability are required.
