The ESD tweezer 246CFR.SA from Ideal-Tek is specifically designed for use in areas where precision and protection of sensitive components are required, such as in micromechanics and electronics assembly. This tweezer features interchangeable tips made of CF plastic, consisting of 66% polyamide and 30% carbon fiber. This material composition ensures high mechanical strength, excellent wear resistance, and minimal friction, making the tweezer ideal for handling delicate materials like glass and ceramic substrates.
The tweezer is ESD-safe, heat stabilized up to 130°C for continuous use, and has a maximum temperature resistance of 190°C for short periods. It offers excellent chemical resistance against oils, greases, and most nonpolar solvents, but is not resistant to strong acids, alkalis, or hot water or steam.
Technically, the tweezer has an angled tip shape with a 45° bend and a length of 130mm, which, along with the sandblasted surface, ensures optimal handling. The surface resistance of 10² Ω and conformity with ASTM D 785 >100 underscore the high quality and reliability of this tool.
