The JBC KN-B Nitrogen Measurement and Control System is a highly advanced technical solution, developed by JBC, to precisely measure and regulate nitrogen flow in soldering and desoldering processes. This system significantly improves soldering quality by preventing oxidation during soldering and creating a constant, controlled atmosphere. It is ideal for use in electronics manufacturing, repairs, and prototype development, where precision and quality are crucial.
The system is compatible with JBC soldering stations and tools, and extends the life of soldering tips through effective use of nitrogen. The nitrogen flow is automatically activated when the T245N nitrogen handle is used and deactivated when it is put back. The kit requires a GN nitrogen generator or an existing nitrogen supply. It is compatible with the DI control unit and older models such as DD or DM control units.
Technical specifications include a power of 3 W, a voltage of 24 V, a maximum pressure of 6 bar, a supply pressure of 3-5 bar, and a nitrogen flow control of 0.5 - 3 SLPM, with 1-2 SLPM recommended. Additionally, the system is ESD-safe and meets ANSI/ESD S20.20-2021 standards.
