WTPP MS soldering iron

The WTPP MS soldering iron from Weller is specifically designed for demanding miniature work under the microscope and meets the military standard MIL-SPEC/IPC. This high-precision tool is ideal for extremely small components with high energy requirements. The soldering iron has a power of 55 W and a fast heat-up time of only 3 seconds, which significantly increases efficiency and minimizes downtime.
The temperature can be regulated in the range of 100 °C, supported by a voltage of 12 V. The Active Tip (Cartridge) system allows for the RTP MS series soldering tips to be changed quickly and safely even in a hot state, without the need for additional tools. The ergonomic boomerang handle ensures precise handling, while optimized heat transfer ensures consistent performance.
Additional features such as the standby function contribute to energy efficiency, while the ESD-protected design enhances safety. Please note that the handpiece and soldering tips must be ordered separately. This soldering iron is an indispensable tool for professionals working in electronics manufacturing and repair.

MS soldering irons are MIL-SPEC-compliant, i.e. they are used in accordance with MIL-STD-2000. In contrast to conventional soldering irons, they have additional insulation to earth, which prevents interference frequencies. MS soldering irons are not compatible with conventional soldering tips, but must always be used with MS soldering tips.
