WX 2012 ULTRA MS soldering station
The WX 2012 ULTRA MS Soldering Station from Weller is an advanced solution for demanding soldering tasks, particularly suitable for the automotive, aerospace, and medical technology industries. This soldering station meets MIL-SPEC / IPC standards to effectively protect sensitive components from electrical overload and offers an extremely fast heat-up time of just 7 seconds for component sizes XL to XXL. The WX2 power unit allows for the parallel operation of two soldering tools and is equipped with integrated USB ports for easy connections to solder fume extraction systems and other devices. The station supports automatic tool recognition that automatically makes optimal settings, and features digital operation that ensures a temperature accuracy of ±9 °C and stability of ±2 °C. Additional features include an intelligent soldering iron with motion sensor, tool-free tip change, and the possibility for traceability. The safety features include a 2-in-1 safety rest for wet and dry tip cleaning, as well as temperature and tool locks to ensure safe operation. The station measures 154 mm in width, 135 mm in height, and 174 mm in length, with a weight of 3.45 kg. The robust housing made of plastic and aluminum, along with ESD safety, round out the profile of this powerful soldering station.
