Self-adjusting crimping pliers with square crimping
The self-adjusting crimping tool from KNIPEX offers an efficient solution for crimping ferrules according to DIN 46228 Part 1 + 4. This tool is characterized by its ability to automatically adjust to the desired size of the ferrules, which minimizes the risk of crimping errors. The tool allows frontal insertion of the ferrules and guarantees a consistently high crimp quality through a releasable forced lock. The crimp pressure is precisely calibrated at the factory.
With a length of 190 mm and a weight of 477 g, the tool is handy and lightweight, which, along with the toggle lever mechanism, supports fatigue-free working. It is suitable for ferrules from 0.08 to 10.0 mm², with ferrules up to 2.5 mm² also being feedable parallel from the side. Particularly noteworthy is its suitability for all twin ferrules up to 2 x 4 mm² or 2 x AWG 12.
The tool is made of burnished material and has a width of 75 mm and a height of 20 mm. It is not ESD-safe, however, it offers approved crimping according to UL in combination with the KNIPEX ferrules 97 99 330 – 399.
