The Weller Erem 510AE precision wire stripping pliers is a robust and highly precise tool specifically designed for demanding applications in electronics and aerospace engineering. This ESD-safe tool allows for precise stripping of insulations and optical fibers with a diameter range of 0.25 to 1.02 mm (AWG 30 - 18). The required diameter is easily set via a screw, while the replaceable cutting blade ensures long life and repeatable accuracy.
The pliers offer excellent handling with a length of 120 mm and a weight of only 91 g. The jaw length is 27 mm, which allows for additional precision in cutting. Another feature is the patented opening system that integrates the springs invisibly, thereby minimizing the risk of injury. The ESD-safe standard handles meet the MIL standard with a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohm.
In addition, the innovative 'Stop! Limit system' prevents the crossing of the blades, which protects the cutting performance and increases safety. An optional wire holder is available that reduces the risk of eye injuries and assembly damage due to uncontrolled cutting debris.
