Side Cutter 884E The Side Cutter 884E from the Weller Erem Series 800 Maxi is a high-quality precision cutter designed for cutting large wire diameters in electronics. Made from premium tool steel with cutting edges hardened to a hardness of 63-65 HRc, this tool offers outstanding performance and durability. The non-reflective surface and ESD safety according to MIL-standard with a transition resistance between 10^5 and 10^9 Ohms ensure safe operation in sensitive electronic environments. The patented opening system integrates the springs invisibly and prevents injury risks. An innovative 'Stop!' limit system protects the cutting edges from crossing and damage. An optional wire holder is available to prevent eye injuries and damage to assemblies from uncontrolled detached cutting debris.
