Made from 1% carbon/chrome steel, the tool achieves a Rockwell hardness of 63-65 HRC through precision induction hardening. The short, 20° angled jaws and the small bevel allow for precise and flush cuts, ideal for processing thin wires, cables, and other components. The ERGO™ handles with a thermoplastic surface provide optimal grip and are made from a robust polypropylene that increases durability. A numerically controlled machine grinding technique ensures the accuracy of the cutting angles, while the induction-hardened cutting edges and the friction-reducing screw connection ensure excellent cutting performance.
