This VDE-tested cable cutter from the Knipex series offers the highest protection when working under voltage up to AC 1000V and DC 1500V, according to standards DIN VDE 0105, EN 50110, and IEC 60364. The two-color multi-component grip insulation meets VDE 0682 part 201 and international standards such as EN 60900 or IEC 60900, confirmed by the VDE/GS mark of a neutral testing agency.
Thanks to its high transmission ratio, the force required for cutting is low, and the compact design allows for use even in confined spaces. It is specifically designed for cutting Cu and Al cables up to a diameter of 52 mm (380 mm²), but is not suitable for steel wire or highly flexible conductors.
