This ESD device caster wheel with mounting plate 550 offers a load capacity of 40 kg and is specifically designed for use in ESD-sensitive environments. The housing is made of lightweight, pressed and galvanized sheet steel, featuring double ball bearings in the swivel head and an effective double stop/brake. The mounting plate measures 60 x 60 mm, while the bolt hole spacing varies between 38 x 46 mm. The wheel itself has a diameter of 50 mm and a width of 18 mm, made from polypropylene with an electrically conductive, black rubber tread that reaches a hardness of about 85 Shore A.
The wheels are also equipped with thread guards to increase durability and minimize the accumulation of dirt. Note that plasticizer diffusion can cause contact discoloration of the floor. This caster meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and is ideal for use in areas where electrostatic discharges must be avoided.
