The ESD device caster wheel with a mounting plate from the 550 series is specifically designed for use in electrostatically sensitive areas. With a load capacity of 65 kg and a wheel size of 100 mm in diameter, it is excellent for light to medium-heavy applications. The housing is made of lightweight, pressed, and galvanized sheet steel and is equipped with a double ball bearing in the fork head, which ensures high maneuverability.
The mounting plate measures 60 x 60 mm with screw hole distances between 38 and 46 mm, allowing for flexible mounting. The wheel body made of polypropylene and the tread made of black rubber are electrically conductive and comply with the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. The Shore hardness of the wheel is about 85 Shore A, which provides an optimal combination of hardness and elasticity.
It should be noted that plasticizer diffusion can cause contact discoloration of the floor. This caster is ideal for use in electronic manufacturing environments where ESD protection is required.
