The ESD-apparatus caster wheel from Blickle, with a load capacity of 125 kg and a back hole of 11 mm in diameter, combines high functionality with robustness. The housing of the BRA series is made of galvanically zinc-plated, blue passivated sheet steel that is Cr6-free, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. The caster features a wheel from the TPA series, whose tread is made of high-quality thermoplastic rubber elastomer (TPE) with a Shore hardness of 85 A. This material is non-marking, oil-containing, and is kept in the color gray, while the wheel body is made of break-resistant polypropylene in black.
With a wheel diameter of 50 mm and a total height of 98 mm, the caster offers an optimal size for versatile applications. It is ESD-compliant according to the standard DIN EN 61340-5-1 and shows high chemical resistance to many aggressive substances. The temperature resistance ranges from -20 °C to +60 °C, although the load capacity is reduced at temperatures above +30 °C. The weight of the caster is 200 g, and it is equipped with a sliding bearing, which allows for low-friction movement.
This caster is excellently suited for applications where ESD protection and reliability are required.
