This heavy-duty ESD equipment caster wheel from the 550 series features a robust, galvanized sheet steel housing and a double ball bearing in the swivel head, ensuring high stability and durability. The mounting plate measures 77 x 67 mm and supports a load capacity of up to 100 kg. The wheel has a diameter of 125 mm and a width of 32 mm, allowing good maneuverability on various surfaces.
The wheel body is made of polypropylene and is equipped with a black, electrically conductive rubber tire that meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1. This makes the caster ideal for use in areas where electrostatic discharge must be avoided. The rubber tread has a hardness of about 85 Shore A, which ensures an optimal balance between hardness and elasticity. Note that plasticizer migration can cause discoloration of the floor.
The attachment is made via a mounting plate with hole spacing of 56-62 x 47-52 mm, where the screw holes have a diameter of 8.5 mm. Thread guards on the housing prevent the ingress of dirt and fibers, which simplifies maintenance and extends the life of the caster.
