The ESD device caster from the 550 series is a robust solution for use in areas that require electrostatic discharge. This model has a load capacity of 80 kg and is equipped with a heavy steel sheet housing that is additionally galvanized to ensure a long lifespan. The caster features a mounting plate with dimensions of 77 x 67 mm and a wheel width of 32 mm, which allows for stable and secure attachment.
The wheel itself is made of polypropylene with an electrically conductive rubber tread, which has a hardness of about 85 Shore A. This guarantees good abrasion resistance and floor protection, although contact discoloration due to plasticizer diffusion is possible. The caster meets the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1, thus providing safety in sensitive electronic manufacturing areas.
The caster is unbraked and features double ball bearings in the swivel head, allowing for high maneuverability. With a wheel diameter of 100 mm and a bolt hole spacing of 38 x 46 mm, this swivel caster is ideal for apparatus and devices in ESD-protected environments.
