This heavy-duty ESD caster wheel from Series 550 is specifically designed for use in environments where electrostatic discharges must be avoided. The housing is made of heavy, galvanized sheet steel and is equipped with a double ball bearing in the swivel head. The wheel features a back hole for mounting and a thread guard that prevents the penetration of dirt and fibers.
The wheel has a diameter of 100 mm and a width of 32 mm. The wheel body is made of polypropylene and is equipped with a ball bearing, while the tread is made of black rubber, which is electrically conductive and has a Shore hardness of about 85 Shore A. These features ensure that the wheel meets the requirements of the ESD standard DIN EN 61340-5-1.
With a load capacity of 80 kg, this wheel is ideal for transporting heavy loads in sensitive electronic manufacturing environments. Please note that plasticizer diffusion can cause contact discoloration of the floor. The wheel is unbraked and offers an overhang of 39 mm, which improves maneuverability.
